Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to have your Nayavo account and the data associated with it permanently deleted. It applies to data you entered into Nayavo and to data we obtained through platforms you connected, including Facebook and Instagram.

1. How to request deletion

Email support@nayavo.ai from the email address on your Nayavo account, with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Include:

• The email address registered to your Nayavo account.
• Your brand or workspace name, if you know it.
• Any connected accounts you want disconnected, such as your Instagram handle.

We ask you to write from the registered address so we can confirm the request is genuinely yours. If you cannot, tell us and we will verify your identity another way — we will never delete an account on an unverified request.

2. What happens next

• Within 3 business days we acknowledge your request and confirm what will be deleted.
• Within 30 days we delete the data from our production systems and revoke the access tokens for any connected platform.
• Within 90 days the data ages out of encrypted backups, which are on a rolling retention cycle and cannot be edited in place.

We confirm by email once the deletion is complete.

3. What gets deleted

• Account & profile data — your name, email, phone number, company, and profile details.
• Brand & content data — brand profiles, uploaded media, captions, calendars, and AI-generated content in your workspace.
• Connected platform data — data retrieved from Shopify, Instagram, Meta, Google, WhatsApp, Amazon, Zomato, or Swiggy, together with the access tokens authorising those connections.
• Usage & device data — log data, device identifiers, and analytics linked to your account.

4. What we keep, and why

A small amount of data outlives the request, because deleting it is not ours to choose:

• Billing and tax records — invoices and payment records are retained for the period Indian tax and company law requires.
• Records of the deletion itself — we keep a minimal record that a request was made and actioned, so we can evidence compliance.
• Content already published — posts published to Instagram, Facebook, or another platform live on that platform, not on Nayavo. Deleting your Nayavo account does not remove them. Delete those posts in the platform itself, or before you send this request.

5. Removing the app without deleting your data

If you only want to cut a platform's access, you do not need to delete your account. Disconnect the integration inside Nayavo, or remove Nayavo from the platform directly — on Facebook via Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, and on Instagram via Settings → Apps and websites. That revokes our access immediately while leaving your Nayavo workspace intact.
